Bosch Group
Along its almost 122 years of existence, the Bosch Group has taken over a position towards its collaborators and partners with the practice of a business policy based on the values of its founder.

By testamentary decision, the company's capital was divided in two parts: 8% for the Bosch family and 92% for a non-profit foundation, the Robert Bosch Foundation.

Established in Germany in 1964, the Robert Bosch Foundation is one of the greatest foundations associated to a private company. Its investments are directed to the following areas:

- Health and Research in the Medical Area
- International Relationship
- Formation and Education of Youngsters
- Researches in Scientific Areas

"I intend, besides contributing to diminish the many different forms of privation, to promote the moral, physical and intellectual development of the people".

Phrase said in 1935, by Robert Bosch.

On the steps of what already happened in Germany, in 1971 the Robert Bosch Beneficent Association was established in Campinas-SP, which in 2004 was designated as the Robert Bosch Institute.

Being the social arm of the company, the Institute is responsible for managing the policies, guidelines and resources of social, cultural, environmental and educational projects, as well as projects of preservation and formation of the cultural-historic heritage, and medical-hospital. The projects are carried out by Bosch's own initiative or in partnership with external institutions.

The social investments of the Institute are focussed mainly in communitary projects developed around Bosch plants, where most of its collaborators live. Moreover, it supports many other projects developed by several entities of the third sector.

Education is the main goal of these investments, which have three focus of action: Profissionalization of teenagers, environmental/health awareness connected to the quality of life and incentive to culture.

Yearly, the Institute invests more than 2 million reais in projects of social responsibility and cultural projects, focussing on the self-sustainability of the communities and entities assisted in Brazil, considering that, together with the Bosch Company the investment surpasses the 4 million reais. All over the country, more than 32 thousand people benefit directly or indirectly from the Institute in the communities where it acts. An example of the participation of the Institute in the cultural context was the implementation of the Bosch Memory Center, in 2003, aiming to rescue, preserve and make available information that expresses the evolution of the company history, its brands and the sectors where it acts, in the context of Brazilian industrialization.
The Robert Bosch Institute complies with the commitment of the company with social responsibility, becoming therefore, part of national history.

Strategic goal: promote the Social Evolution through own projects or in partnership with other entities, focusing on:
